About my Work

I am a probabilist working with probabilistic models on graphs and other topics in discrete mathematics. My current research activity is on epidemic-like processes, focusing on questions about the asymptotic behavior of such processes. I am interested in using interacting particle systems, percolation models and special stochastic processes on graphs to describe the spread of an information and other similar phenomena on a population. Also, I am interested in studying (asymptotical) properties of random objects inspired by biological questions, and related subjects of discrete mathematics.

My work includes, but is not limited to, the study of the following subjects:

  • Maki-Thompson model for rumor spreading;
  • Bass model for innovation diffusion;
  • Frog model of interacting random walks;
  • Accessibility percolation model on trees;
  • Branching processes with selection;
  • Evolution algebras associated to graphs.
