Installing Extension

The installation of the RSumm News extension is quite simple. All you are going to need is:

• Google Chrome browser (since the extension was developed for, and only, Chrome, other versions, such as Chromium will not support the extension);
• RSumm News.crx (found on Download Tab).

In order to correctly install the extension, firstly you will need to locate the .crx file on your computer. After that, you will have to go to chrome://extensions/ (just type it on your URL bar or go through the Chrome configuration tab).
When the Chrome extensions page finishes loading, all you have to do is drag the .crx file into the browser. When the message "Drop to install it" shows up, drop the file and click on "Add" (button that will be displayed on a pop-up).
To make sure you have done all the required steps, perform the checks below:

• Check, on the extensions page, if the 'RSumm News' appears
• Check if there is an icon (NILC) on the top right of your browser (right beside the URL bar);
• Go to news.google.br and do a search for a term of your preference;
• Check if the button "Resumir Notícias" is visible on the right side of the magnifying lenses button;
• Click on the button to generate a summary from your query.

If all the items above worked fine, then YOU are fine :)
